My Journey

Hello everyone, my name is Emma and I'm an oracle reader as well as solitary practitioner of natural magic. Being raised as a black woman by a white family, I have lived the dichotomy of being raised in white culture, while having black experiences. Having the experience of growing up in a predominantly white state and being surrounded by very few individuals of color, versus those few of color not accepting me due to the fact that my mother is white brought along with it some difficult trials to learn from. At the age of 13 I started studying religion as well as ancient roots and traditions. With so much information I started to compile my very own "book of shadows" which is currently up to two volumes. At the age of 16 I was gifted by my mother my first and only deck of Oracle Cards to start reading for myself and others. Through all of this gathering of information and observation of human experience, I started to notice that I didnt fit in to either category, I rested as a fulcrum in the middle. I saw that between the two halves of yin and yang there was a small line that balanced the two wholes, The interdependence between the two and how they complimented eachother. This has been a personal philosophy that I have lived by for many years and it has helped me become a good ear for people as well as make a bigger family along the way.
